Everton welcome West Ham United to Goodison Park in this afternoon’s Premier League, and are favourites to pick up all three points to stay within touching distance of fifth-placed Chelsea in the table.

The Toffees are enjoying a bright season under new manager Ronald Koeman, currently sitting sixth in the Premier League table with 15 points from nine games. But they have suffered a blip in form of late, having gone four games without a win ahead of this afternoon’s clash with the Hammers.

A win could see them narrow the deficit to Chelsea to just a point, but West Ham will be a tricky opposition given their recent upturn in form. United find themselves 16th in the Premier League with 10 points, but they have won two and draw one of their last three in the division.

However, with the Hammers picking up just one win from their four away games this season, while Everton boast two wins and two draws from four home outings, Bet 365 are giving odds of 17/20 for the Toffees to dispatch of the Londoners at Goodison Park today.

“This only means that the world of football is opening to diversity and is really embracing the globalised nature of football. We should be giving more opportunities to regions like the Middle East to demonstrate that they can also be nations of football, and also show the rest of the world that football is bringing people from different cultures and religious backgrounds together.”
